Who is CM Star Corporation?
CM Star Corporation is based in the Philippines and embraces three large business segments: Pharmaceutical, Consumer and Pet Care Division. The company was established in the 1999. In 2000 it embarked into the world of marketing and distribution of critical medicines. Consequently, the company established worldwide partnerships with prestigious pharmaceutical manufacturers and distributors. In 2015 this journey led to the opening of their newest business segment; The Pet Care Division – which is where our joint journey begins.
We reached out to Lourdes Silva from CM Star Corporation, who was kind enough to let us in on their decision process:
“Way back in 2014 our company was looking for a pet food business. We had searched for various pet food manufactures and came across your website. We contacted your group who was very responsive, flexible and corporative, and we have been in contact ever since.”
The market is starting to respond
The pet food competition in the Philippines is very high. Many of the well-known brands have been represented for quite some time. It means that they, the pet parents, are aware of and used to their brands. Lourdes Silva explains: “In the beginning of our adventure, the CM Star Corporation had little knowledge of the products.” However, with the corporation between our two companies, CM Star Corporation now experiences repurchase and good feedback on the two brands they carry: ALL Petfood and REAL Petfood. Especially the ALL brand is popular as it is easy for the consumer to compare with the already existing brands on the Philippine market.
Distributor Service makes a difference
To help and support our distribution partners in the best possible way we grant access to our online Distributor Service. Here we offer, amongst others, soft copies of all our marketing material, help with customs, insights to the content of our products and much more. “The Online Distirbutor Service has been very helpful to us. Especially when it comes to documentation and insights into the content of the products”, Lourdes Silva concludes.
There were of course also inquires, e.g. on packaging size. We are happy to get this feedback as a result of our close corporation with our distribution partners. We are happy to receive all comments which keeps us on our toes, making it possible for us to keep developing our services with the user in mind; our distribution partners.
