Why is pet food surrounded by secrecy?
We’re excited that Henriette Bylling aka the Queen of Pet food will join this year’s Petfood Forum in Kansas as keynote speaker together with large pet food players such as Nestlé Purina PetCare. Below you will find a link to petfoodindustry.com‘s article about the key topics at Petfood Forum 2018: Consumer trust and new research.
Keynote Topic
Henriette will speak under the topic: “Why is petfood surrounded by secrecy?”
The objective of the presentation is to tricker the listeners’ consideration of the consumer in their work in the petfood trade. Key take aways are:
- Why transparency is important for the petfood trade?
- Why transparency is important for your company in the pet trade?
- Why transparency is important for the consumer?
“Rumours and stigmas around ingredients and petfood are escalating, boosted by the internet and increasingly inventive product claims”, says Henriette and continues: “At the same time, the consumer’s approach to the source they obtain the information from has become less critical. I ask the central and most relevant question: How can we make the world of pet food and the pet food declarations more transparent and enable the pet parents to make an informed choice? An informed choice which ultimately decreases their need for having to rely on the online “encyclopaedia” from non-professional sources.
Because of Henriette’s extensive experience and knowledge of both marketing and the world of petfood, she is able to make a unique link between the consumer’s decision-making process and the information we, the petfood trade, make available for them.
