Our organisation

Headquartered in Denmark, the majority of our team is based in Russia. An Expert HUB services Denmark and Russia ensuring that the organisation
is closely knit despite the physical distance.

St Petersburg

Equipped to Western European standards, the St Petersburg plant was built in Kuzmolowsky from green fields in 2005/2006 and began production in 2007. Today, it is the leading Russian producer of wet private label pet food and the only Russian producer of private label wet pouches.

Tver

Dry food for cats and dogs is produced at the factory in Tver. The factory is equipped with European machinery and operates under the watchful eye of experts from Aller Petfood in Denmark in close collaboration with our Russian employees. The dry pet food production is based on our extensive know-how from the Danish factory which was closed in 2015. Additionally, an experienced team in Tver ensure consistency in the product quality.

We have developed and implemented several tactics, e.g. system and personnel training programmes and like-minded people team building. This means that new colleagues are very quickly on-boarded and very few leave.

500 employees, all experts in their own field, go to work every day to contribute to the world of high-quality pet food for cats and dogs. As an organisation we live by the values – our Drive.

Management

Our management group is closely knit and there is a close cooperation between Denmark and Russia. The Nordic management style has been implemented in the Russian part of the organisation with great success.

Henriette Bylling aka the Queen of pet food, CEO & Owner

Aller Petfood is headed by the 4th generation of the Bylling family; Henriette Bylling. Henriette was born with pet food running through her veins. Today, she is in the business also known as the Queen of pet food. – Which she enjoys very much, might add. Having spent the first 10 years of her career in the London advertising business, Henriette had solid experience when she took over management in 2006. Under her management Aller Petfood has grown and expanded the Russian business from a turnover of 448 mil Rub to a turnover of 3,146 mil Rub and entered into the Middle East markets. When Henriette is not heading the company, she spends her time with her husband and son of 4 years – and of course with their cat; Miss Mckennsey.

Michael Valov, CEO Russian Division

Michael Valov came into the Bylling family business in 2008. Since then he has successfully managed the two Aller Petfood Russia factories. Under his management Aller Petfood Russia became the first Russian pet food company to be awarded an FSSC 22000 Certificate. With +15 years in the pet food industry, Michael is also a perfect blend of an education within engineering and the highest MBA degree in HR Management. In combination with his vast experience in business management, Aller Petfood Russia has built an extremely close-knit team of pet food industry professionals, which is unique for Russia. Michael spends his leisure time profitably as well by devoting much attention to outdoor activities with his family, to sports and to playing the button accordion.
